I intended to write Monsters-verse for this prompt ("taint") and ended up with zombie apocafic. I blame that on multi_ficathon pimping zombiebang, and also on dime_for_12. (In the best way possible, of course.) 100 words, written 8/28/10 for week 70 of writing_game.

Because I'm apparently fixated on Neal sending cards to Peter. :) These drabbles were written and posted 8/26/10 at  week 70 of writing_game (one word has been changed since then, but nothing important). The prompts were "everything was hand-lettered then, not like today" and "save", respectively.
